Alexander Wainwright, MD

Alexander Wainwright is a board-certified OB/GYN practicing in Houston.

After growing up in the Memorial area, Dr. Wainwright attended Vanderbilt University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and completed his residency training at the same institution. After completing training, Dr. Wainwright served for 4 years as a faculty member of the OBGYN department at McGovern Medical School, both caring for patients and training future OBGYN physicians. In 2021, he co-founded LUNA OBGYN with Dr. Jonathan Faro.

Dr. Wainwright loves to travel. He enjoys being outdoors, cooking, and spending time with his girlfriend, Angelica, and their puppy, Ellie.
